Remi will be dad again! His latest 'bride' - Guinness Mirage, owned by Zsanett Zsvér-Vadas - went to ultrasound today and was confirmed to be in whelp.

Puppies are expected around May 25th.

I have received great news from Poland from Anna Gebura, owner / breeder of Kaladan kennel - her lovely Rubia (who was Clubwinner '09, Best of Breed and BIS 2 at our Clubshow this year) is confirmed to be in whelp from Remi!

The puppies are expected around May 5th.

DAY 1 - Clubshow of the Hungarian Setter Club

Ozzy in Open Class got Exc. 1, CAC and Clubwinner '09 while Remi stepped in his first veteran class, got the ticket and nothing could stop him to take over the main ring and win

DAY 2 - CACIB SZILVÁSVÁRAD (All-breeds International), Crufts qualifying show
judge: Mr Colin Mackay, GB

Ozzy again in Open class, got the CAC and CACIB thus qualified for Crufts '10 - hope he will grow some coat by then :-)

Remi got the CAC title again in Veteran class but wasn't in a showing-off mood so was unplaced in the mainring.

DAY 3 - HUNTING BREEDS SPECIAL
judge: Mr Ole Staunskjaer, DK
group judge: Mr Sándor Szabó, H

This was a rather difficult show the judge being unusually strict - unusual for the Hungarian circuit for sure. Quite a few dogs got 'good' or 'very good' titles in the breeds judged by Mr Staunskjaer.

I was delighted to get Excellent with both boys along with the CAC and later Ozzy going Best Of Breed! With his 3rd Veteran CAC ticket Remi is a Veteran Ch. now - this is pending KC confirmation.

In a crowded and strong group 7 Ozzy was shortlisted to the final 5 though didn't make it to the first three - I was thrilled. He was moving very nicely but didn't really want to stand so last couple of minutes was rather a battle with him.

Remi also did well and got 3rd Veteran in Show today, judged by Mr Robert Kanás from Slovakia.

Again - thank you to the judges! Also, thanks to some devoted photographers we have a massive amount of photos that needs to be selected; once it's done there will be a 'photo report' to sum up the three days.

OZZY's first litter was born today in Hungary at Britain Star's kennel! 10 little cucumbers - unfortunately, one of them didn't make it. The others -6 boys and 3 girls - are doing well, also mum is fine.

I would like to say a big THANK YOU to all our friends and fellow Gordoners who kept fingers and paws crossed for Ozzy in the critical times.

He's back to his old self without any signs of the illness or signs of possible set-back - entertaining us with his antics we missed so much while he was seriously ill. This has been a hard time for us not knowing how this will end and I am - and will be - grateful for everyone who kept us in their thoughts.

FEBRUARY 17th, 2009 - REMI'S LATEST PUPPIES BORN

11 puppies were born today at BLACKSTAR OF HEATHMOOR (www.blackstar-of-heathmoor.de) kennel in Germany. Unfortunately, one girl didn't make it - we are so sorry about her.

JANUARY 21st, 2009 - "CELTIC" celebrates Birthday again!

Where has time gone? It feels like yesterday when our long awaited puppy from the Laurelhach kennel in UK arrived at only 7 weeks and took over the household - and the whole family - in no time. And here we are - celebrating his 8th birthday today!!!

Reserve EUROPEAN WINNER!!!!!

Oh my God - what a day again!!!!! Both of my boys had a really strong class and both of them did a grand job.

The breed was judged by Mrs Penny Williams of Bournehouse kennels from the UK - thank you!

This was a great finish to Remi's show carreer in adult classes - as he is turning 8 soon he will make appearances in Veteran classes from next year.
And also a good start to Ozzy's adult carreer - he is just taking Remi's place in the classes and we hope he will follow in his "big brother's" foot prints as well.

As we like to get a proof that our dogs still know what they were bred to, we have entered Ozzy to this event. With pride and happiness it can be announced that he had passed officially the

Hunting Ability Test for young dogs (Jugend Anlage Prüfung) with 79 points. He is shot steady as well and his abilities are being developed as we attened training sessions - in the hope of getting his work certificate soon.
